I've raised £500 to Help animal charities

The Paul Lewis Animal Welfare Trust
This is a charitable Trust set up in the name of Paul Lewis in 2021 during the Covid pandemic.
Paul unfortunately passed away due to other complications.
Paul was an advocate of animal welfare even rescuing dogs from as far as Romania and had he been here today it would have been Ukraine.
In tribute to Paul's passion for animal welfare we set up this trust to support causes we know closer to home
The charities we have chosen for are
Tam O'shanter Urban Farm
PDSA (Kirkdale)
RSPCA (Wirral)
Dogs Trust (Huyton)
Paul's other great passion was music and happened to be a perfectionist and genius on the Bass you could ever humbly stumble upon. A truley gifted musician, with warmth and sense of humour to watch.
We first met in college over 25 years ago and have played with a treat plethora of other talented musicians in all that time since.
Paul was always there in different great bands and was highly respected and dearly missed.
In 2003 we were part of a band called The Groove Project with Berkitt Manning, Dave Atkins and myself Paul Bruce and we recorded an album of songs '2Days2Nights'
We have produced 200 copies to be sold as CD with all proceeds going to the charities.
On Sunday 10th July.
A charity walk of collection along Seacombe ferry to New Brighton to promote the charities will take place with some of the representatives and photo opportunity aplenty! Hopefully with Tam O'shanter bringing one of their star pigs!
On Saturday 16th July @7pm
The fundraiser gig will be held at The Ship Hotel - New Brighton with CDs avaliable for purchase and donations welcomed.
The acts are
Anthony Usher.
The Deloreans.
Soul Shack
Back To Back.
Inbetween sets,we will be having a memorabilia auction. And hopefully, a couple of local celebrities.
