As a permanent symbol of recognition and to recognise each and every NHS and Care worker, I am raising money to have a medal produced (The People's Medal) and awarded to every hero who has contributed to caring for us all during the 2020 Corona Virus Crisis.

Special medals will also be minted for those who lost their lives whilst serving in the NHS or Care industry during the crisis and will be awarded to their families as a reminder of their loved ones' ultimate sacrifice. We have all been humbled by the selfless care given by NHS and Care workers who have put themselves at risk and they should each be recognisable in society to allow us to show our appreciation.

Each medal is estimated to cost £4 to £10, so please give as generously as you can, in order that as many NHS and Care workers can be recognised. If we raise enough, we can make them really special!
