I've raised £200 to kickstart 'The Red Box Project', a scheme providing young women in Tower Hamlets schools with free sanitary items.

The Red Box Project Tower Hamlets is a simple scheme to support disadvantaged young women throughout their entire period. It provides girls with the sanitary items they need, and the reassurance that they'll be covered throughout their menstrual cycle.
Pupils will be able to access a red box in their school whenever they need, filled with community donations. No more tearful panics in the loo. No wadded up toilet roll. No missed lessons. And no anxious embarrassment.
We believe that a young woman's education shapes her future, and her dignity is our responsibility.
We need funds to buy the boxes, keep them stocked, and print leaflets to promote the project.
