I've raised £1250 to sustain The Red Box Project in Bradford and provide sanitary ware for young people in need in Bradford schools and combat period poverty.

Disadvantaged young women in the UK are missing school because they have started their period and are unable to obtain sanitary products.
The Red Box Project Bradford is a simple but effective community based initiative to provide young women who lack easy access to sanitary items with as many as they need to get them through their period.
Our schools have a limited supply of sanitary towels for emergencies; which is why this project has been designed to provide a reliable supply month after month.
The Red Box will kept at school with the Nurse, at reception or with an appropriate member of staff. Paper bags are included for discretion. When the stocks run low, the school let us know and we top it back up.
The project is already up and running very successfully all over the country and we need funds to get it up and running here in Bradford.
Donations here will cover the costs of red boxes, bags, posters and sanitary products.
Once up and running the scheme relies on the regular support of the local community donating sanitary products at the local drop off points.
It's a simple, effective and affordable way for the community to work together to solve a simple problem and ensure no young woman misses out on her education.
We will of course keep you updated on all the progress.
You can follow us across all the social media platforms and we welcome people raising money on our behalf and creating their own fundraising events.
Thanks so much!
