Our Story

The Red Box Project makes sanitary wear accessible to young women who may not otherwise be able to afford them. We place a red boxes filled with sanitary products in schools and other places young women attend then raise awareness of their existence. We replenish the boxes as and when required. We believe that no young woman should have to miss out on her education or feel embarrassed during her period.

Each red box contains packets of sanitary towels, spare underwear and brown paper bags for discretion. Young women in need are able to take products and utilize the service as required.

I am crowdfunding to kick start the project in Salford. It is a not-for-profit community project that relies solely on kind donations. Any funds raised will be used to fund posters within schools, buy donation and red boxes, as well as make up any shortfall in certain products in any given month. A pack of pads can cost as little as £1 but mean so much to a young woman without so please donate - every bit counts. The more we raise the more young women in need we're able to reach.

Thanks in advance.
