A group of 13 16 year olds (along with a team leader, support worker and graduate ambassador) had the tough decision of deciding which charities we would like to fundraise for in order to complete our social action project portion of NCS.

This choice was not easy as all of the charities really did speak to us in different ways, but the two charities we chose were CCSHF and carers careline. These charities not only brought us to tears with the messages they were portraying, but filled us with so much knowledge about the compelling statistics that we would have never otherwise known about.

In order to raise the money we have been set the task of putting on events, which we have to plan and execute ourselves. The staff members (so the team leader support worker and graduate ambassador for this part) are just there to keep us in line and are not actually allowed to do the work for us which is also one of NCS's criteria to increase our independence.

We do understand that not everyone can attend these events but would like to contribute towards the fundraising, as a result of this we set up this fund me page to reach you people who would like to support this cause but don't have the means to come to the actual events.

Any donations made would be greatly appreciated by all of us (including the charities) and even though £200 is our starting goal we would love to smash that amount. It would be our absolute dream to be able to split the money in half for each charity and still have enough money to buy and donate our own defibrillator (this is more relevant to the CCSHF cause)
