I've raised £1000 to support young children's mental health in Primary Schools!

Hi, I am Chantal and as a Youth Worker I have always advocated for young children and their well being. Times have changed and children are dealing with so much anxieties and stresses and struggle to express their feelings. A mother myself, I want to see my children overcome unhealthy thinking and manage their mental health. When I met the author, Lisa and heard about her passion to educate and promote healthy young minds, I wanted to show my support. That's why I am doing the Three Peak challenge to raise funds to publish the The Repairables book collection. While I have competed in many races and marathons in the past, I am by no means a professional and this is also a huge challenge for me, but I am determined to see that this valuable resource gets into schools across Dorset and beyond!
So join me to reach our goal of £1500 to get the first 3 books in "The Repairables" Collection into all primary schools in Dorset encouraging young minds to grow into mentally strong adults. I would also like to help fund the publication of the next book in "The Repairables" Collection.
I am Lisa Everett, author of the 'Repairables Book Collection. A collection of 7 individual fun stories that educate primary school-age children on difficult feelings
My vast experience with children, running my own day nursery stretches over 18 years, and since qualifying as a Counsellor has led me on a journey of working with clients with mental health and addiction issues. I practiced as a school counselor for 5 years counseling children with behavior and learning difficulties. These experiences inspired me to write "The Repairables" and led to the publishing of the first 3 books in the collection which include Naughty Nick, Jess and Gerald the Green-eyed Monster, and Adam and the Bear with the Sore Head. The books are a valuable resource and tool for teachers, parents, and caregivers promoting positive mental health in young children. The books build on a child's self-awareness of their own feelings and behaviors and those of others and encourages lots of discussions.
The aim is to donate the first 3 books to all 123 primary schools in Dorset. Ultimately, I would like to give the whole collection to primary schools across the country.
