The number of homeless people recorded dying on streets or in temporary accommodation has more than doubled over the last five years in the UK. At least 230 people have died between 2013 -2017 (According to the Guardian).

Why Thermo Shelter

This intervention does not seek to solve the housing crisis that we have in this country but, hopes to provide emergency, thermally efficient, lightweight portable shelters to some of the most vulnerable people.

- Portable: Easy to install and packs into a backpack

- Warm: The insulation reduces heat loss and body heat warms the shelter to 10 degrees warmer than outside

- Dry: The waterproof membrane keeps the shelter dry and is raised off the ground to prevent rising damp

What do we aim to do with your donations?

We want to build our relationship with local charities to identify people experiencing homelessness in order to provide them with an emergency shelter. Your donations and support will go directly towards designing, building and donating shelters in the local area and hopefully across the U.K.
