Iʼve raised £300 to provide a Xmas meal to anyone that cannot afford it or to anyone on their own on Christmas Day
- Funded on Monday, 15th March 2021
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
We have decided that our first year as a Community Cafe would be well spent on Christmas Day offering a Xmas meal to anyone who is on their own or who can’t afford to have a Xmas meal due to COVID.
Our plan is to have 2 sittings of approximately 20-22 people, one at 12.30 and one at 2pm. Booking will be required so if you know of anyone that this will benefit get them to pop into the cafe or message us if they can to book their space.
Meal will consist of a starter, main meal and dessert with tea or coffee afterwards. All we ask is that people attending give a donation.
As we get nearer to the time more information will be posted.
Any donations for this from the local community would be more than welcome e.g a small gift for each person attending or monies towards providing this for the less fortunate.
Looking forward to helping out our local people in need on a day that is all about ‘togetherness’
