Thetford LGBT+ are hosting the first official Thetford Pride on 2nd August 2025.

Who are Thetford LGBT+?

Thetford LGBT+ is a local non-profit community helping to support LGBTQ+ people in Thetford and the surrounding areas. We have been running for over eight years and also have a private group, for over 18's, with regular meetings and events locally which everyone is welcome to attend for socialising and support.

We are working in partnership with Thetford Council and Norwich & Nearwich to help put Thetford on the Pride map, joining all the other local areas already celebrating.

Why are we holding Thetford Pride?

Pride is a family event for everyone, to celebrate diversity and inclusion but to also protest against hate and bigotry. It is more important than ever to give our LGBTQ+ community a safe space to not only live but thrive. Pride helps us do that.

What will be involved with Thetford Pride?

We have a fun, family-friendly daytime for anyone to attend with snack and beverages available, featuring live performances, speakers, children’s entertainers with a wide range of stalls and activities.

Additionally, we have an official, ticketed after party for over 18's also featuring live performances, a range of stalls and something a little different.

How can you help with Thetford Pride?

We are asking for donations to help make Thetford Pride a huge success. We aim to provide a day of entertainment, reflection and education to all involved. We appreciate any size of donation and every penny will be going towards expenses in executing the event.

You can also help us by displaying or handing out posters, showing support online through social media with a like, comment or follow, as well as volunteering; even if it's only for a couple of hours - everything helps.

When is Thetford Pride?

Thetford Pride is on the 2nd August 2025. It will take place in and around the town centre. There are details yet to be confirmed so for more information, see below!
