Every year, The Triscan Group set up a fundraising event for their chosen charity partner because an important part of our company ethos is to give back to others in the community. As a company, we take part in several fundraising events and community projects to try and make a difference where we can. This year , on the 1st July we are taking it to the extreme in our sponsored event,Triscans #WALKAMILLION! Our aim is to walk ONE MILLION steps as a company throughout ONE WHOLE MONTH! All steps will be recorded via a tracking device (on a watch or mobile) to use as evidence, so you can be rest assured there will be no cheating.

Every year staff nominate a charity for us to support and an anonymous vote is held to confirm our charity partner. This year Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital was the clear decision receiving over 2/3 of the votes. As some of our staff have used this service personally, it is very close to home for us.

Royal Manchester Childrens hospital is one of the largest and busiest children’s hospital in the UK with over 350 paediatric beds. Their specialised services provide care for children and young people across the North West, the UK and internationally. They also provide general paediatric care for children and young people living in Greater Manchester.
