Story
The Tuesday club were voted as our Charity of the Year here at Caledonian Produce, Bo'ness.
The Tuesday Club is a weekly lunch club group for 11 people suffering with dementia.
The mission of the Tuesday Club is to offer a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment to individuals, with a variety of activities developed around each person’s needs and with one-to-one support to enhance these weekly experiences.
They are offering amazing support and help to both the people suffering with dementia and also offer some respite time for the carers.
They are ran by a group of volunteers headed up by Lynn Holleran who is an inspiration and puts so much work, love and care into The Tuesday Club.
We are looking to raise as much money as possible for The Tuesday Club to ensure they can keep up the amazing work and support they are doing. Through out the years they have been running they have received an annual grant from the Falkirk council, which helps cover their running costs. Unfortunately this is not a guaranteed grant and the amount has been reduced. The Tuesday Club need our support to ensure they can keep running.
