Hi My name is Katy. I am a very passionate free spirited single mum on a mission to tidy up and teach about the mass production and devastation that PLASTIC is has having on this earth. My children and i live very happily and humbly together, we are a great team sharing huge compassion for others and for our planet. Recently we have been discussing the problems with plastic alot, we have made some big changes at home and our day to day lives and we wanted to come up with something that we could do on a larger scale. So decided to start a war....... #TheWarOnPlastic

The kids and i want to travel the British Coastline hitting every beach to tidy up and to talk to people. To educate ways to live a life without single use plastic. To raise awareness about the shocking devastation that plastic is having on our planet and to learn and teach strategies to deal with this ever growing issue!! We hope to get communities all over the country involved in our big clear up and we don't intend to stop until we see change.

With the money we raise we want to create a good magazine/catalogue that contains lots of help and advice on how to cut back and make changes and also good sources for alternatives, helping local businesses that support zero waste and promoting easy, affordable and sustainable ways of living. We hope to also create a website for the same purpose. We would like to have reusable bags, cups and bottles made to promote our Bring Your Own campaign #BYO that we are launching. Plus we would like to cover our Van with our Logo #TheWarOnPlastic 💚 and take our campaign to the beaches, to the schools, to the festivals, to the tescos, waitrose, and asdas where we hope to get communities and companies involved all over the country. We wanna shout about it! Stop making single use plastic!! Stop using single use plastic. Its not sustainable, it has to stop 🛑
