I've raised £5000 to help #FightLoneliness!

The Wolfpack Project are ambitious about reducing loneliness in younger people & adults!
We’ve already helped 100's of young adults across Nottingham so far, but we need your support to help us grow, reach more people and really start kicking loneliness where it hurts! Your invaluable support will help us reach more people like Chris:
Chris (29) moved from his hometown of Birmingham to live in Nottingham and be closer to his partner.
‘I moved to Nottingham to be closer to my partner and found myself completely isolated as I just didn’t know anyone else in the area. As my partner works all week, and as I don’t yet have a job, I found myself alone all of the time. I felt lonely and like a prisoner at home.’
His partner contacted the Wolfpack Project as Chris was becoming increasingly isolated and lonely. Chris lacked confidence, interaction with others and the social skills to be able to meet new people.
The Wolfpack Project met with Chris to better understand how he was feeling, what his interests were and what he would like to happen to start to feel less lonely. As Chris loves walking, a Wolfpack Project volunteer went out with Chris to explore the parks in his local area. Not only did this help Chris familiarise himself with the area, but helped him build his confidence and make a new connection in Nottingham. Since then, Chris has had weekly calls with his volunteer buddy, been for a walk in his local area and is starting to meet others for a coffee!
‘The Wolfpack Project has helped me to regain my confidence and to feel less isolated and alone. I now have someone to talk to and to do things with again’
We’re hoping to raise £5000, which will mean we're able to support 500+ more people. The money will help us recruit more volunteers, connect more young adults who are lonely, isolated or struggling with their mental health, and in setting up 'Wolfpack' social groups!
Together we can bring even more people together. Please donate what you can and help us to support more people like Chris!
