A message to all art lovers, creatives, artists and the passionate!
A little bit about The Harbour Gallery
Art in the Frame Foundation, with their current patron Lady Dalton, was originally set up in 1998 by two local art teachers who strongly believed in the wealth of local talent in the arts and crafts to be found on the island of Jersey and the severe lack of exhibition space and acknowledgement for this talent.
5 years later, Art in the Frame Foundation took on The Harbour Gallery which has become the hub and window to the charity.
The Harbour Gallery - is run by volunteers and is a not for profit charity. It has been a large part of the Jersey art community for 17 years, however, due to forced closure during this time, the future of this gallery is in doubt.
We would really appreciate being able to keep this valuable asset open to continue to hold a variety of events not limited to: Art parties, fabulous cakes, gallery space and exhibitions, fostering local talent, GCSE and A Level courses, studio space, talks and education.
How can you help?
Please help to ensure the Gallery can get up and running again when the restrictions are relaxed allowing them to continue to bring art and design to the Jersey community. If you are able to contribute to the fund, it would be hugely appreciated.
The gallery is also working hard in the background updating it's online shop so you can support by purchasing artist's work: Click here to access the online shop
Thank you!
