I am raising £750 to fund This Is Tewkesbury

This is Tewkesbury is hosting a community day at Tewkesbury Abbey on 13 June 2026. community & volunteer groups and public services from the wider Tewkesbury area will gather to present themselves and their activities to the public. This is important. Participation in community affairs has never fully recovered since COVID, community groups wither for want of members. At the same time, the population has increased as new estates spring up with limited, if any, public facilities. Newcomers to the Tewkesbury area do not know what is available and where to find out.

The Community Day will help meet these needs.

We have 72 groups and organisations have registered an interest in taking part. What is astonishing.

We have been offered use of the Abbey & grounds free of charge. But there are many other costs. Insurance, equipment hire, publicity etc. We hope that you can help. Any donations are welcome.
