Hi,

My name is Adam Taylor and I help to run an organisation called This Is My Story Limited (TIMS) .

We are a Non For Profit, Social Enterprise that delivers detached youth work, youth clubs, trips and projects for young people across Liverpool.

TIMS Is an organisation designed for young people, by young people. We help the “hardest to reach”, who are not currently engaged with, make positive plans for the future.

We go to the places where kids are hanging around, taking/selling drugs and are at risk of offending. We then try to encourage them to take part in diversionary activities as well as give them personal development. Our staff combine Performance Coaching, Mentoring and experience from both sides of the fence, to improve young peoples’ well being.

We plan to convert an off road vehicle into an outdoor youth club that has shelter, seating, televisions, playstations and Wi-Fi. The money will also keep the vehicle running for over a year and give us a massive head start.

This will help us engage with young people even better, taking the youth club directly to them, instead of making them come to us at another location. Something like the one below would be perfect!

TIMS has already worked with hundreds of young people. We have helped teenagers go from selling drugs to having legitament international retail businesses, from fighting with knives in the street to volunteering with us to help stop it happening in the future. The list goes on and with your help, it could go even further.
