Story
A group of us are abseiling over 400 feet down the National Lift Tower in Northampton - the largest abseil tower in the world - to help raise much needed funds to support Tom Spina and his family.
Tom suffered a life changing spinal cord injury whilst on holiday in April 2022 and over a year later he still has not returned home to his family as he continues to undergo intensive rehabilitation in hospital.
Once Tom returns home he will require life-long supportive therapy to allow him to live the fullest life possible with his wife, Sophie, and their 9 year old son, Gabriel.
Please help us with our fundraising efforts to help Tom on his journey home and moving forward as his life, and that of his family, will never be the same again.
We had a JustGiving page with our original target of £5,000 and have already raised an incredible £2,960 through that page but it expired before all of us had completed the abseil so we have started this second page to hopefully get us to that amazing target. Every penny raised is going towards Tom's on-going supportive therapies once he is finally home, the cost of some of which are astronomical and for which no funding is available.
