We are a family of 5 who have struggled with the expense of living for the last 10 years. Last year, my eldest son managed to make the great leap into University. Sadly, he was unable to cope with the pressures of University and got himself into £2500 debt with his landlord as he was unable to financially support himself. We, as parents are now being chased for this debt with the threat of court action and the prospect of having to sell our home to raise the money to pay for this. We have tried to remortgage but are unable to take money out of the house quick enough to be able to get this paid before it is due.
We have struggled for the last 10 years and have missed meals in order to survive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
