I lost my sight back in 2010 and I got my Guide Dog in 2011. He is now 9 years old and due for retirement next year and I'am desperate to keep him. However, I will have to fund the Vet Bills and his on going stomach problems as he cannot eat meat as he is allergic to it (Very odd I know!). I have been saving a bit every month but as I'am not well I don't think I can save enough to pay for his NO MEAT diet. He has also had a cruciate ligament replacement with plates and screws and so this could be a problem a few years down the line.

He is my first Guide Dog and I cannot give him up or away as he's the only positive thing that has happened in 8 years. I would never have even contemplated doing this but I live on my own and cannot ask for help from my family.
