Thornbury in Bloom is completely run by volunteers, who are dedicated each season to make Thornbury look as perfect as possible. Every penny we raise goes into the plants, watering and everyday essentials (insurance, paint, cleaning equipment, etc) ie. things you wouldn’t think we need but are essential for keeping the town looking great. With mounting costs, this goes into thousands of pounds every year.

Thornbury is part of a 'B-line'. B-Lines actually stands for “Biodiversity Line” and management which benefits pollinators and will benefit other inverts and wildlife.

If we exceed our target amount we will be humbled. This will further increase our ability to appear at our very best especially over the summer months when the judge/s are due to inspect our town. We are grateful for all support to enable us to continue keeping Thornbury looking great.
