Legendary supporters and donors-we have done it! The 2 new portable ICU units arrived! (Occupied already!) Smaller than my main ICU, so not suitable to for long term sick hogs, they are perfect for rewarming littlees and hypothermic ones before moving them into larger crates with heat pads. Also for taking with me to rescue the sickest and smallest hedgehogs and hoglets as they can plug into the car. If I am able to afford another large ICU, I will buy one but for now, I can concentrate on finishing the cages! Thank you all so much!

Today I ordered my first incubator, the Brinslea TLC-40 ECO. This will be used as an ICU for the sickest/smallest hedgehogs that arrive. If we raise any more, I will be purchasing two portable ICUs. They will cost around the same as this one and although they do not have a humidity option, they can be powered in car to take to rescues.They also stack, so can be used as additional ICUs in the hospital room as well. The donations and support that I have been given to buy this first unit has been incredible. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far! I have ordered the materials I need to build the hedgehog hospital room cages, giving more space, greater airflow and the ability to double capacity if needed, using dividers. Totally removable fronts and a plastic base will make cleaning quicker and easier. I am making a series of videos to document the process and will post them to my social media, so you can see where your donations have gone and how much they help me and the hedgehogs.
