Story

3 Peaks. 24 Hours. 10,000ft of Vertical Ascent.

On 13th July, a brave team of 10 parents will take on the mighty Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for our next exciting PTA project.
The team is led by one of our Governors, Richard James, and includes Julie West, Julie White, Tracy Kruger, Chris James, Annette Furniss, Wayne Guy, Elaine Briggs, Richard Dow, Simon Day & Andy Wilkes.

Some of you have told us you'd love to see the PTA take on more big projects like the outdoor classroom that we brought to the school a few years ago. We've listened. And this time we're going massive.

We are raising money to provide the school with a 'trim trail' - an exciting outdoor adventure play trail with lots of fun equipment. Think climbing, balancing, and exploring.

That sort of high quality play equipment doesn't come cheap, and we need to raise around £50,000 to provide your children with these new facilities. And that is where our intrepid mountain climbers come in.

Starting in Scotland at around 5pm on Friday 13th July (what could possibly go wrong?), this crazy bunch will first climb Britain's biggest mountain - the jaw dropping Ben Nevis. They will then drive to the Lake District to conquer Scafell Pike, England's highest peak. And, finally, they will complete the challenge in Wales with the mighty Snowdon.

All in the space of 24 hours, finishing on Saturday afternoon. They've been training hard - the last few months have been spent yomping up and down hills across the country. It will be gruelling and exhausting. So this is where you come in........we need your donations to help fund the cost of the equipment.

So whatever you can donate or if you can encourage your employer, or your own business to support this amazing feat, it would be much appreciated. We are very lucky to have one of the best equipped primary schools in the country right here on our doorstep. With your help, we can go on making it even better.

Thank you, for whatever support you can offer.
