Threads To Spare - Chapter Two: The Sale
It's finally here... The shopping event OF THE YEAR...
Shop designer clothes, vintage shoes, perfect drama school blacks and everything in between.
On the 25th and the 26th of June, The Cabin will be transformed into an exciting shop filled with the donations we've collected over the past few weeks.
What you need to know...
How much will things cost?
We're going to be doing a rough guide price for different items, for example 'T-shirts' may be priced as £2-£4 and you can donate anything within the guide price (obviously if you want to donate more, you can!)
How can I pay?
You can either bring cash (which would probably be the easiest option) or we will also have a Just Giving page set up where you can transfer money across from your bank account or paypal.
What kind of things can I buy?
So far we have some amazing donations including Converse, vintage jumpers, party dresses, brand new jewellery, suits, musical instruments, cool beanies, and even some designer clothes! There are so many amazing, random, exciting things that you can fill your wardrobes with. It's going to be the MOTHER OF ALL CHARITY SHOPS!
We are also planning on having a bake sale too, because, who doesn't love cake?
Will I be able to try clothes on before buying?
Yes! We will set up a changing room in the Cabin so you can try before you buy!
Where will the money raised, be donated?
So this whole thing is in aid of two amazing charities; Refugee Community Kitchen (RCK) and Help Refugees who work tirelessly to support, care for, feed, clothes and protect refugees.
RCK are based in Calais and serve thousands of hot, nutritious meals to refugees in Calais and Dunkirk every day. They are the most giving, special charity (Jess has worked with them numerous times so she knows!) but really need donations and money to continue the work they are doing.

Can I donate without buying anything?
OF COURSE! You can either donate via our Just Giving page or drop in to the shop and give us any spare pennies you have - doesn't matter how little - everything you donate is wonderful!
What happens to all the leftover clothes? Will they go to waste?
They will be taken over to Calais in September (or before if we get a chance!) and donated to Help Refugees.
Remind me when and where it'll be again?
25th and 26th June.

See you there!
