We are currently volunteering at Pro Animalia dog shelter in Miercurea-Ciuc in Romania. This shelter is home to around 300 dogs and they do an absolutely amazing job of caring for and rehoming dogs.

You may or may not be aware that Romania has a serious stray dog problem and there are hundreds of thousands of stray dogs all across the country. These dogs are stray because they are unwanted and mistreated.

A lot of dogs in the shelter get adopted and rehomed in Germany but also a lot of the dogs here will never leave the shelter due to their age, illnesses and temperament. This shelter allows these dogs to live out the rest of their lives in the best possible conditions.

The shelter is 100% funded by donations and after spending time here volunteering and seeing first-hand what a fantastic job all of the staff here do to give these dogs the best lives possible, we would really like to help and support them by raising some money for them.

If you are a dog lover like we are, then we would really appreciate any donations that you may be able to give and you can be assured they are going to such a great cause.

100% of your donations will be going towards everything that the dogs need - food, shelter, medicine, vaccinations, etc.
