Three Cricketing Amigos Fundraiser

Our names are Charlie Stott, Jack Jenkin and Billy Taylor. We are best mates aged 11 and 12 years old and we all love cricket!! We all attend Helston Community College and have been playing cricket together since we were 8 years old. We all play cricket for Helston Cricket youth team and this year we started playing adult cricket for Helston‘s 3rd team along with our dads! All three of us have been given a fantastic opportunity as we have been selected for the Cornwall under 13 teams tour of South Africa for two weeks next February! We feel very fortunate to be given this chance and in addition have the benefit of sharing this experience with each other creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. We have been working really hard at trying to raise as much money as possible by writing to local businesses and asking for sponsorship and raffle prizes, we have spent time hand delivering all of these letters and explaining them in detail to each company. We have bag packed for 5 and a half hours in Tesco and more bag packing is planned, we have been out and about selling raffle tickets at various events. We have a fundraising event planned for Friday the 6th of July at Helston Football Club with a live band, raffle, auction, hot food and games. We really are working very hard to reach our fundraising goal, If you feel you can help in any way at all we would be so very grateful. We are selling raffle tickets for £1 each or £5 for a book, they can be purchased through this page as well as tickets for our Three Cricketing Amigos Fundraising event on Friday 6th of July.
