This is me. With one of the historic aircraft I am passionate about preserving. I'm even more passionate about using the aircraft to enthuse kids about Science, Tech, Engineering and Maths (STEM). (I already know a 12 year old girl who now wants to be an engineer!)

The stories about these old Warbirds abound, and HEROISM is a major theme - and an easy hook to lead young people to engage with engineering and science.

Talking of HEROISM, I am TERRIFIED of heights. So... if I reach £500 I will jump out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane and free fall (screaming) strapped to an Army parachute instructor. What's not to like?
