Over the weekend, Camilla, Chloe, Bry, Tasha, Hollie and myself went to the streets of Colchester to hand out food to the homeless, what we didn't realise was the sheer amount of people begging and starving on our streets. We decided then that every Sunday we would collect food, clothes and any donations to hand out. On Sunday night we met a couple James and Lorna who were sleeping in St Marys car park floor with only a sheet and blanket covering them. We sat for an hour getting to know them, James a chef has been homeless for two years and Lorna who has a little girl that she does not see has been on the streets for 7 months aswell as overcoming her addiction to heroin. Our aim, is being able to get some money together to help those like James and Lorna who have no food, shelter, or family. If anybody can support us with this, we'd appreciate as little or as much as you can give, every pence or pound will help them through winter and the smiles and laughs we recieved last night meant a lot, thank you 😊X
