Hi Everyone,
I'm Tianna and in June 2017 I will be travelling to Indonesia to complete a marine coral conservation research which will also contribute data towards my dissertation. Whilst out there i will also be doing my PADI open water diving qualification which is provided by the organisation I will be completing the trip with, Operation Wallacea.
Opwall is a network of academics from all over the world, who design and implement biodiversity and conservation management research expeditions and I feel very lucky to be working with them on my dissertation.
It is an amazing experience that I am very excited to be a part of, as not only will the research benefit my final University grade, however, all data collected whilst I am out there and any analysis I complete after the trip will be part of further studies into changing marine ecology in Indonesia, which is a cause I am very interested in.
