You know how much I love football... and most of you will have heard me talk about my role as a representative of the Tibetan National Sports Association (TNSA); and, in particular, my role in helping to raise funds and generally sort out logistics etc (think "concierge extraordinaire") whilst the Tibetan National Football team is in town to participate in the ConIFA "alternative" World Cup! http://www.conifa.org/en/members/tibet/

What you may not know is that each of the players are totally dedicated to the team and are not paid for their time and effort - which frankly is amazing considering the amount of time they have spent in preparing for the games, not to mention the time being here now taking part in the tournament. So, having spent the last week with the individual players, I thought it would be a great gesture to be able to say thank you to them all by raising a small amount of money from each of you so that they can leave the UK with a little extra pocket money. My hope is we can get £250 together for each of the payers and the coaches - which neatly rounds up to about £5,000!

Please give generously...if we can get to 50% of the target £5,000, I will be handing the person making the most generous donation a Tibetan national football Top, signed by each of the players!

This is a very short run JustGiving plea - the page has to close by SATURDAY 9 JUNE 2018. The team depart on Monday 11 June 2018; so I intend to present the amounts raised on Sunday 10 June 2018.
