The children of Tichirigi in Naleregu, East Mamprusi District, Ghana love to go to school, they love to learn. We want to help and encourage families in Tichirigi to create new futures for their kids.

The current school building was constructed about 100 years ago; built with mud and roofed with thatch; the floor is not plastered and the structure is not safe.

There are 500 children attending the primary school; the classrooms for the younger children have no furniture, about 300 kids, four to nine year olds sit on the floor with books on their laps.

We want to fund a new brick building, and provide furniture for all the classrooms and uniforms for the children; the work would all be undertaken by local people.
