Help Tiegan Get to Tanzania for Her Volunteer Occupational Therapy Placement!

Our friend Tiegan, a super dedicated student occupational therapist (OT), has been given an amazing opportunity to volunteer on a healthcare placement in Tanzania. This isn’t just a trip – it’s a chance to make a real difference while learning loads about working in a totally different healthcare setting. It is also an opportunity for Tiegan to volunteer her skills and experience in a unique way to help others.

While she’s there, Tiegan will be putting her OT skills into action to help patients and work alongside local healthcare teams. She’ll also get to see how occupational therapy is done in a place where resources are tight, but creativity and determination shine.

This experience is going to be a game-changer for Tiegan and the people she’ll be supporting. She’ll share what she’s learned so far, pick up new skills, and come back with a fresh perspective that’ll shape her future practice.

But, as you can imagine, this voluntary placement comes with some hefty costs – like travel, accommodation, vaccinations, uniform and organisation fees etc. That’s where we’re hoping you can help.
