    Story

    Our aspiration

Hello Friends, today we come to you in hope of being saved from the ravages of immigration law which we fully respect but never fully understood the depth of its hold on its citizens . We are in dire need of your kindness and generosity. We are asking your help to pay for my visa and flights to and from America. Although the Visa is the main issue.

I am an American. My boyfriend (Andy) is British. I am on a travel Visa right now visiting him, it ends at the end of October and I have no other option than to leave and go back to America. This is heartbreaking for both of us as when you’ve been in love, you would relate too and not wish upon anyone. I had every hope I would not have to go back to America, as I came here with the mindset of staying with Andy to find out Visa’s are outrageously expensive. Andy works hard and tirelessly, but seeing how I am only on a travel visa, I am unable to work here. Supporting two people, his home and his son at uni (whom he brought up alone), for him makes it just out of reach to see success in saving for a visa in the immediate future. The reason we need your help is because. Andy and I love each other dearly and have a beautiful connection, the one that we all dream about. ~Please help us to keep this system of boundaries from ripping us away from the other. We know there are more needy causes but this opportunity is one that is here for a reason and we have chosen to give it a try rather than face the heartache of departure,

With your kind help we hope to make this a shorter and less painful burden to bear.

    Our story

Andy and I met online, through various different facebook pages we both enjoyed. We started chatting and soon learned we had so much in common and an awful lot to talk about. . We never stopped talking and then one day Andy said he would buy me a ticket to come over here although he would have loved to have come to America. (he ended up buying it twice as the first flight was delayed and I missed the connection, So I was stranded in Reykjavik!!!) I didn’t believe it until my eyes saw the Airline confirmation email.

He works in Construction and I was a nanny.

We was ignorant of the troubles we would face with the costs of going backwards and forwards, getting legal advice, and all the further running costs involved of being together but that didn’t matter at the time, but now as you’ll understand fully it’s a very worrisome process with no guaranteed outcome because of all the costs involved.

Andrew is more outgoing and talkative. I am more reserved and quiet. The time I have been here he has brought me out of my shell a lot and.he has silenced some of my fears of people , I don’t feel the need to apologise for everything I do as much as I used to, and he has changed my views on my of the world and people in general. Andy takes on every responsibility for people passionately, and doesn’t like to let people down, which comes which comes with a lot of responsibility. . I try my best to retreat from everything. . We make such a great team. We feel that with my passion for animals and children and his for people in general we could help each other to do things that the heart requires in life like the things we see on here, which is the biggest stumbling block we face. Moving forward is going to take the hardest part of asking for help before we can start our journey.

The only way we can stay together is to get married. That’s the only option. Andrew was adopted and met his real mum just before she died and has no family apart from his son at university, and my story is similar with no family ties.

The price of the fiance visa is $1991. The flight back to America in October will be close to $400. The flight back to the UK will be around the same.In reality we are looking to achieve a goal of $2800,. £2000 goes to the visa. £800 goes to the flights to America and back although the Visa is the main struggling point.

We will be forever grateful to for any help no matter how small, And will endeavor as soon as viable to reappropriate it all back into helping others over a course of time in the very same way. It is very hard for both of us mainly because we do not have any family support, so right now we are looking to you to be our family so that we can be family together in England.

To recap, my plan is to fly back to America at the end of October when my 6 month travel visa is up. I will be staying with a friend, while applying for this visa. I will try and get a short term nanny job whilst I am back. My main focus and attention will be getting this visa, going to appointments regarding the visa, etc.

With your generosity we will make my trip to American quick and I hope to be back “home” to my Andy in no time. I know times are hard for everyone and I thank you for any amount you can donate towards my dream of staying with my love. I think we can all agree that love is a very powerful motivation, the ‘one’ that unifies us all.
