    Story

I first realised getting pregnant was NOT going to be so straight forward for me when I was rushed in to hospital in 2014 (age 23) with a suspected burst apendix, little did I know the problem was far more serious. I was diagnosed with grade 4 aggressive/severe endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome. I've undergone 2 major and 2 minor surgeries in the past 3 years to give myself the best chances of being able to conceive and live as much as a normal, pain free life as possible.
I do not ovulate at all on my own so I needed some kind of intervention. first was prescribed clomid a pill which enduces ovulation and you try naturally, I didn't make any eggs, not even ONE was detected on scan. So we were then referred for IVF (two cycles are NHS funded) so off we went, we got 28 eggs altogether, 15 fertilised, 2 made it to the final stage (blastocyst) one transferred and one frozen. Our little egg baby didn't stick I was beside myself. But pushed on for round two, 30 eggs collected, 17 fertilised and 3 made it to final stage. One transferred and 2 frozen(snow babies) and two weeks later PREGNANT! What! But started to bleed heavily and discovered it was a pregnancy of unknown location(ectopic) Had injection to shrink the pregnancy(hcg blood tests showed baby wasn't growing normally or quick enough) so there was no saving my little beebs. Fast forward three months from mental and physical recovery I am now looking to have my snow babies transferred! These are not NHS funded, they cost roughly £2,500 per transfer and we will have one transferred at a time to reduce risk of multiples and miscarriage. After getting pregnat with my second IVF we now know it WILL happen InshaAllah ❤️
Ive been married since 2012 and Alhamdulillah despite the difficulties we have faced it together and are still ever greatful for all our other blessings, but as women know, there is still a burning need inside me to be a mother, and I will get there no matter how difficult this will be.
