Hi,

I am a new coach at a local football side just outside Newark, Winthorpe and Coddington Tigers, we are a village side and are looking to raise monies to purchase a defibrillator at the club, the nearest to us at the moment is over 2 miles away.

As a coach of this team, I am their first aid responder, during my FA first aid course I was shocked to learn that in the event of a collapse, even with CPR, the chances of survival are reduced by 10% every minute that a defibrillator is not used, as a father and a coach, I do not know how I would get over not doing everything possible to raise money to have one installed at the club and potentially save the life of a child, this is why I am so passionate about this cause.

We are looking to hold some fundraising events to support this, however if there is anything that you feel would be able to support our appeal, no matter how big or small, everything will make a difference and it will be greatly appreciated.
