We have had the heartbreaking news that our gorgeous 12 year old boy needs to have surgery on both of his ears due to cancer, we lost his sister a couple of years ago as she lost her fight to cancer after trying all we could to save her. Unfortunately we are unable to pay for the surgery right now and our insurance wont pay so we are stuck until we can save to pay for it. We can keep him on steriods as we have been told it doesnt spread but its got to a point now where its really uncomfortable for him and we have to keep a cone on him as he scratches till he bleeds so we want to be able to get him into surgery as soon as we can so he can go back to his loving cuddley self. The amount we have put is for one ear which is the one thats got uncomfortable for him and causing him all the stress and pain over the last couple of weeks (we have had to treat an infection hence why the vets not thought about surgery until now as was unable to see full extent of tumours) the name of the condition is Adenocarcinoma and is affecting both ears. We have been left heartbroken after losing Candy and we cant bear the thought of him being in pain any longer so any help towards the surgery would be such a massive help and mean the world to us thank you for reading.
