Helping Communities in Sri Lanka

Hi, my name is Tiggy. I am a 16 year old who lives in Cornwall. During my summer holiday this year, having finished my GCSEs, I have volunteered to go to Sri Lanka to work on a painting & renovation programme in Ambalangoda. This may be at a local school, temple or hospital depending on where the need is at the time. This will involve myself and my fellow volunteers working together in a large group along with local tradesman every morning.

In the afternoons, I will be helping at a Tsunami Teaching project, an Elephant project and on a Turtle Conservation project.

I have saved up £300 of my own money to part-fund this trip. I am hoping that Just Giving can help me raise the remainder of the costs necessary for my flights and the balance of the organisational costs.
