I've raised £200 to Volunteer with HelpRefugees in Calais

Despite the eviction of the Calais ‘Jungle’ in October 2016 and the Dunkirk/Grande Synthe camp burning down in April 2017, there are still around 1,500 refugees sleeping rough in the forests in northern France. We provide blankets, clothes, food and water, Wifi and women and children’s services. In July I will be joining this incredible team to volunteer with these amazing people for a month. However, as I am volunteering I need some funds in order to support myself with accomodation and food while I’m there. I would be so so grateful for donations (even just your smallest change!) that can help me cover these expenses! If you are in a position where you feel unable to donate, I will also be taking food and clothing donations with me when I go - any old clothes, toys, canned foods that you feel willing to part with, let me know and I can pick it up and take it with me! Message me personally if you’re interested in this option and I’ll let you know what kind of donations are most valuble. Also, if you are interested in volunteering here yourself let me know and I can put you in touch! Thank you so much!
