As part of the Hendy Group, I am a passionate supporter of all of our charity partners; Wessex Heartbeat, The Rainbow Centre and The Pickering Centre. All of these charities do some amazing work in our local communities and we are always looking for new ways in which to fundraise and raise awareness of their work.

In February of this year I ran in the Hendy Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon (2h20s). In April I am running the ABP Southampton Half Marathon (1h56m), June the Hendy Eastleigh 10k (51m08s) and in September the Winchester Half Marathon. These 4 events are all proudly sponsored by the Hendy Group.

In June I am also completing a Southampton Airport 5k run (24m16s) and the Lordshill 10k (51m14s).

In addition to the above I want to make sure I complete 1 event per month for a year. These will be in May (Alton 10 mile 1.28.22), July, August, October, November, December and January and February in 2019 meaning I will complete approx. 265km of road running which is the distance between our Car Store in Exeter and our Chichester Ford site.

I am frantically training and have already covered many miles as part of my running regime, and so now I am asking you to dig deep and support these incredibly worthy causes. From blisters and bunions to crippling cramp, your support will help to keep me motivated over the coming weeks and months. Keep checking back for updates on my training progress!
