I've raised £2000 to Continue expansion of Time to Talk Mental Health UK, a social media based interactive support group for adults in the UK.

Raising funds, in order to;
1. Raise awareness of the service that Time to Talk Mental Health UK provides.
2. Produce reference and promotional material, such as leaflets and posters.
3. Collate a volume of members' creative work.
4. Ensure that the voluntary team receives appropriate training.
Time to Talk Mental Health UK was established in 2017 as a fully confidential social media based peer support group for those suffering with mental health issues. We’re run for and by people with mental health conditions aged 18+ and living in the UK.
The group provides an empathy based support service in a safe, carefully supervised and fully confidential online environment. Members are able to share their feelings, support each other and interact 7 days a week.
As well as peer support, interaction and advice (if required) there is a daily opportunity to celebrate victories, random acts of kindness, self care and talk about any negatives from the day. Group exercises take place regularly and there are monthly clubs on various themes; such as creative /craft, music and book clubs. Events such as dedicated Men’s and Women’s Weekends and Mental Health Awareness Day talk place regularly and the group provides dedicated programmes for bank holidays and other times which can be difficult for members.
Time to Talk Mental Health UK believes that fully private, confidential and interactive social media based peer based is missing from the mental health care package currently available. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and interactive environment which can be easily accessed whenever needed.
