In memory of Tina Jones

Sadly, Tina Jones passed away on December 20 2023 after a battle with cancer. Throughout 2023 Tina had been gathering a number of symptoms that were affecting her health. However, the cause of these symptoms remained a mystery to all of the doctors she visited during the year.

Due to an unrelated condition, Tina had been under the care of the brilliant and dedicated hepatology and liver services team at the Royal Free for the last 19 years. After initially recommending Tina for a liver transplant, this team then discovered the cancer and finally diagnosed her condition.

We're so grateful to this team for their dedication and their care not only during the last few months, but over the last two decades too. Speaking to the lead Consultant there - Dr Patch - we want to raise funds to help train more doctors and nurses in this critical hepatology and liver transplant area.
