I've raised £2000 to Help Tinkers Hill repair the rehabilitation pond and do other much needed maintenance and improvement work

December 2021 - see the hamper competition on the facebook page!!
Tinkers Hill is a local bird sanctuary run by the remarkable Maria Evans. The large pond used for rehabilitating waterfowl such as Swans, ducks, geese etc needs repair so I am hoping we can come together as a community and help!
You might have used the sancutuary if you have come across injured birds, you might have suggested people call Maria and get her help - I know I have done both at one time or another. The cost of running the sanctuary is considerable and does not allow anything for the repairs needed to the pond. Please help. Spare anything you can so that this wonderful local sanctuary can continue to care for the birds that need it.
Also glad to hear from any local builders, builder's merchants etc. who may be able to offer help!
Any monies raised that are not used specifically for the pond repair will be provided directly to Maria, for her to decide how they should best be used, to benefit the birds.
