    Story

    Tinks the Frenchie

A friend of mine Judith Herbert has the biggest heart when it comes to rescuing dogs, over the years a lot of her life has been devoted to it, people would turn to her when a staffie needed a guardian angel, and she is always there to help.

A few weeks ago Tinks, an adorable little frenchie, has been lucky enough to be rescued by Judith, the poor wee soul hasn't been so lucky up to now though. She has been bred almost to death by some back street breeder, who has neglected her to say the very least. She came to Judith with horrendous skin, infected dermatox and her ears and eyes rendered almost useless

Just when it seemed poor Tinks could enjoy the rest of her days happily with Judith and her other rescue pack, Tinks collapsed. After tests and days of unconsciousness the vet confirmed that Tinks had meningitis. Judith and our local community were devastated, it seemed so unfair. Tinks however proved what a survivor she is and became strong enough to go home so her mammy could love and nurse her. Since going home people have been brilliant, she's captured everyone's heart, as we know frenchies do. Tinks still isn't out if the woods yet. Her meningitis nightmare isn't over, the issues with her skin, ears and ulcerated eyes are on going which means so are the vets bills. As a long-time frenchie lover I want to help raise some money that would help. I want this girl to have the life she deserves.

Any amount to help Tinks get better would be amazing.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will keep everyone posted on her progress, I only wish she knew how much she is now loved x
