    Story

Clifford and his partner Rachel Riser were among the many caught in the terrible Atlas Fires in California in October 2017. They lost their house & studios. Clifford had been preparing a show with 32 life size figures in glass plus 30 others. All was burned to the ground including nearly 50 years of his prints and sketchbooks. All his tools, material and kiln were lost. We'd like to help Clifford and Rachel be able to replace the tools & materials to start again--we can't do anything about the lost art sadly. Have a look at Clifford's website to appreciate some of the brilliant works that have been lost; http://www.cliffordrainey.com/

Clifford sends his love and heartfelt thanks to his friends and fellow artists. He was never expecting this outpouring of support and it makes all the difference, not just in a practical sense but knowing that he is part of an astonishing community.
