Tito is my 4 and a half year old black Labrador.

He was a regular, happy, carefree dog up until the age of five months when he suffered an unprovoked viscous attack from another dog, at the local park. He suffered numerous injuries, the most severe of which was an elbow fracture which still effects him to this day. It makes it very hard for Tito to walk, as his leg is constantly in pain. He has not been the same since.

He has been on medication his whole life to help reduce the pain and has undergone various surgeries. Unfortunately, the pain hasn't subsided as the arthritis is so severe and he has become lame. This is also causing him to be depressed, when he used to be such an upbeat and jolly dog.

Recently, he was referred to Noel from Fitzpatrick referrals (also known as the supervet). Here it was determined that in order to fix Tito's elbow, a partial elbow replacement operation must be performed. Essentially, he is missing a part of his elbow, and he needs a metal replacement.

In order for Tito to live a normal life again, it is crucial that he has this operation. This wonderful opportunity for Tito will cost approximately £10,000. It is vital that he has this operation as soon as possible.

As for myself, I am a disabled woman living on my own, and can only get by on benefits. Due to financial problems, I have no dog insurance to cover the cost. It is impossible for me to fund this operation. As such, I have turned to the generosity of other people to help cure Tito's suffering. As someone with 14 medical conditions, I can understand what Tito is going through, and how he feels. Tito is more than a best friend, he is family, and I cannot bear to watch him suffer any longer.
