Story
The Friends of Tividale Park are a residents’ community group who work to improve the facilities in the park in various ways, including fund-raising for new equipment, volunteering, and supporting events to bring people of all ages together to have fun and enjoy the park.
In our 5-year history we have hosted a number of family fun day events, a black country festival, bat walks and history walks. Our sister group Tividale Fitness Army holds weekly walking events.
The group is based at Tividale Park Community Hub where we would like hold regularly events such as book clubs, tea and coffee mornings, gardening groups. We have actively been involved in park improvement by painting the entrances, the daily mile route, graffiti removal, 10 new benches, a WW1 memorial poppy bench, the pencil bin by the toddler’s area. Installing plant pots, 15 bird and bat boxes around the park and litter picks.
So why not get involved and help make Tividale Park a real hive of community activity. Visit our website www.tividale-park.org.uk and www.friendsoftividalepark.org.uk
