Dinara, her sister, Katerina, and their 3 boys fled Ukraine to escape the war, while their husbands stayed on to fight for their country.

Having seen a post on Facebook, Tonbridge Judo Club welcomed the boys to attend the club, allowing them to continue with the sport they love, despite the huge disruptions to their lives.

Chris, along with friends he turned to for help, has managed to help find a home and schools for the family, the next step is to get them here.

The family is currently in Bulgaria, and their visas have now been approved. We are raising funds to cover the cost of their flights to the UK and to allow them to buy school uniforms, clothes and essentials upon arrival, as they could only take a backpack of belongings each.
