Story
Hi, my name is Katherine, I am 17, and I have quadriplegia and i'm wheelchair bound. I have faced many challenges including; heart surgery, lung surgery, brain surgery, muscular release in the arms, and most recently - 2 inches of femur cut out of each leg, and hip and knee realignment. Sounds painful, right?

In the summer of 2019, I am planning to go on a self funded research programme in South Africa. I shall be surveying hyena behaviour, biodiversity and study night-time camera footage. This is a work programme and not a jolly!! This is something that I am very interested in and is perfect for me, as i have found a programme which caters for my physical needs as well as forming a fundamental part of my future degree in zoology.
Over the next year, I will be hosting many fundraisers across the Surrey area and would appreciate any support either financial or physical that you can offer. I also need to fund raise for two carers to accompany and scribe for me.
Thank you so much for even taking the time to read this. I want to make a difference by helping endangered species and limiting their suffering, and you can help me. Please reach to the bottom of your heart and donate to help me achieve my dream, I would appreciate this eternally.
Lots of love,
Katherine Brine xxx
