Story
We are crowdfunding to raise enough to purchase a Defibrillator package for both visitors & staff at The Leagrave Centre.
Currently, more than 30,000 sudden cardiac arrests occur outside of a hospital environment in the UK every year, of these only 1% survive due to a lack of knowledge and proper equipment.
By having a defibrillator accessible on site and ready to use in an emergency, you can help to increase survival statistics against cardiac arrest, by having the only definitive treatment available to use at all times.
Survival chances improve by 68% if you apply CPR and defibrillation within 3-5 minutes of a victim's collapse.
Please donate whatever you can to help us to fund this lifesaving piece of equipment for all that use our building.

The Leagrave Centre is a Luton Borough Council owned and staffed Conference Centre, based on Strangers Way in Luton. We facilitate and oversee numerous events and meetings daily, as well as housing over 70 LBC staff. In addition, we have an on-site Coffee Shop open to all.
