Story
I'm running a 50 mile ultra marathon on August 9th in order to raise money to support Kev's family in keeping his legacy alive.
Kevin was recently murdered when off-duty during operations in Kenya. He was a man everyone looked up to and respected, especially those he served with and I'm honoured to be able to raise some money to support his family in their efforts to tackle criminality in young people.
The news article for Kev's story is linked below, please read it to gain an appreciation for the type of man he was.

Info on the two charities Kevin's family have chosen to support are also linked below.
The first charity is NI based Sported who's ethos is: Using the power of sport to change young lives and tackle some of society’s biggest problems, including anti-social behaviour, rural isolation and community cohesion.

The second charity is Kenyan based Lornah Kiplagat Foundation who aim to keep girls and young women in Kenya in school and offer them education in combination with sport - A healthy mind in a healthy body.
